Eyes Quest
Quest to see
your eyes
I have seen so many
they speak nothing
but their truth
mine speak of
love and youth
my eyes
I thought were beautiful
till I saw in her eyes
so blue
so lovely and so sparingly true
the babe was tromping about
as if in one's youth
the pet had eyes blue
better than mine
how glad I am
all now knew.
