Those are her eyes

so now sir
you too see us with a different set
once to read us
you did never forget

on your poetry
our eyes are still set
remember sir
never forget
it's been ages
we'd met


‘'unkee aankhon ka noor shabae Allah
dekh kar toe hum hoe gaye muzboor ‘'

Those eyes pierced into my heart
it was an arrow of love
how could I but not enjoy
the shyness
her being so coy
and
there and then I knew
O Boy!

this one alone is your life's toy
keep those eyes smiling as always
she will die otherwise
so be wise
kiss her eyes
never let them dry

these maybe your
Mom's eyes
your sister's and sibling's eyes
then your wives
later so many more
as newer relations are born

kids come and later have train
then grandchildren
do not refrain
love them their eyes are a store
of love for you
as you become old
kiss them too

these young eyes are to admire you
and finally present your eyes
so someone will see though
your eyes will live forever too
kiss those eyes daily
assure me and yourself first will you
