Eyes That Cannot See Poem by Otevia Andrew

Eyes That Cannot See

Rating: 5.0

Eyes that Cannot See

They live in perpetual darkness,
For they have eyes that cannot see!
Their light is their mind
Their sense of sight is gone!

Guided by the eyes of another,
They carefully tread along.
Hands stretched forward
Probing their dark world for a safe passage

I saw one today
Smiling handsomely
Having a lively chat with his guide
To the house of God he is led.
Moved, I said a prayer
For the eyes that cannot see.
