Face Of Forgotness Poem by James Edwards

Face Of Forgotness

Rating: 5.0

As I write this,
I am drowning into the night
My eyes are seducing
My brain to flight.
My fingers are insisting
No reason be right
But in the midst of falling
My dreams hold tight.

How can it work
When my body says no?
What is the fuel,
Where does it go?
When is the time
The boat starts to row,
Into the seat
of this Lucidful show?

When reality becomes real
As the day becomes fake,
Soon I forget
My origin of place.
Where I now am,
I always was,
Two different thoughts
One single tongue.

Your face of forgotness
Was never forgot.
Hidden in lust
Was love never lost.
Finding the truth
Was tougher to trust.
But somewhere in dreams,
An awakening must.
