Factless, Tactless And Brash Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Factless, Tactless And Brash

Being one brazen in some ways,
Could and may display a bravery.
In the face of overwhelming opposition.
To commend it with audible applause.
But can also be paused,
If such opposition...
Has been shown ongoing disrespect.
In public view kept addressed.
Until what is suppose to be the opposition,
Chooses to refuse continued abuse.
With a smoothing one loud and harsh.
Factless, tactless and brash.
To do this done,
Letting it known and shown to everyone.
That one brazen in ways displaying,
The emptiness of self importance.
Underneath,
Is just a piece of copper coated brass.
