Fading Existence Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Fading Existence

Open-armed, welcoming others into their circle of
friendship - one of closer near deaths of experience.
Together, holding onto their conversations as a mist
slowly forms over them, enclosing all in a partition
of future coffins.
Lights shining into closets, encapsulating their
egos and minds for an eternity without them, as their
spirits are filled and souls fade into another
existence beyond lives of human beings.
