Faerie Kisses Poem by R K Summers

Faerie Kisses

To wander through the forests,
And dance beside the Faes,
To marvel at the mighty Phoenix,
As she is set ablaze.

I want to stand on a riverbank,
And whisper to the Banshee,
I want to cross a sandy beach,
And sing alongside a Selkie.

Swim beside the laughing Merfolk,
Beneath the endless sea,
Track the Unicorns to the cave,
And set the Pegasi free.

Offer me jewels and wealth and power,
I want only this:
To wonder at the cobweb beauty,
Of a Faerie Kiss.
