Fairy Nymph Poem by Dean Meredith

Fairy Nymph

Some of the best books are hard
With soft bits

Some of the best girls I knew
Were much the same

Ok, and so was I
Te'ra te'ra

And you and I shall die
And you and I

Te'ra te'ra
In our unbroken sky

I wish we didn't
I don't like to die

I pay each of them
Homage

Imprint a picture
Of their soul on mine

Develop the negative
Try to compare

Earth to sky
And she is but she isn't

Here
With I
