Saying what people want to hear
Saying what keeps them ever so dear;
Telling a lie is not unjust
For complete honesty is not a must.
Following our words may seem a cinch
But greed and status will make us flinch;
Taking the worn path instead of the new
That's just what people tend to do.
If ever a person you come to trust
Make sure they won't leave you in disgust;
Loyalty and certainty, well, that's the key
To ridding yourself of hypocrisy.
To be adored is what we all want
But being adored can fill us with flaunt;
So before you ever neglect what you say
Make sure that you never lose your way.
