Fall Happens Poem by Peter S. Quinn

Fall Happens

Fall happens
And the light goes,
Earth dampens
And mold grows.
But nothing can stop us
We still go on,
We get across
‘till the job is done.

Life gets by
Into each day,
Low and high
As it will play.
But hours go on
Into the days,
until they are gone
In its many ways.

You and I
Thoughts to share,
Making a try
From here to there.
It happens just
Because we are,
Able to adjust
To whom we are.
