Fall In Autumn Poem by Peter S. Quinn

Fall In Autumn

Fall in autumn
in its beautiful way,
when slumbery slum
meets a darker play.
Dreams of the night
the glow of its dark,
when winter starts flight
and glittery embark.

Here comes the eve
with all its dim night,
sun so bereave
in its short daylight.
Oh silvery snow
on the cold earth,
now you must glow
in enduring birth.

Spring will though come
again in brightness,
bring seeds to bloom
in its sweet caress.
When life comes anew
in the colorful shade,
and bring them to you
that nature has made.
