Fall Of A Blind Trust- A Found Poem For Children

One day a poor carpenter discovered three camels..
A mother and her two wandering kids

He took the animals home and started caring for them
He thought of becoming a camel trader by breeding them

His luck, soon he owned several camels out of his sincerity
That the villagers started envying him for his prosperity

One day a neighbour advised him to tie a bell on a camel's neck
So to easily know which one is roaming where just to find quick

The carpenter did so on the neck of one of the animals
Next time the camel with the bell went roaming in the jungle

While grazing along continuously tinkling was his bell
A tiger lurking behind the bush heard the sound of the bell

He quickly preyed on the camel and finished him in a minute
Poor carpenter pathetically paid a heavy price for his blind trust.

Blind trust is not always helpful to one's growth
It might be harmful too to leave one to cry and loathe

He took the animals home and started caring for them.He regularly took them tothe forest for grazing and to the river for a bath.He thought of breeding them and becoming a camel trader to end his poverty. And within a couple of years he owned several camels and became rich. His fellow villagers started envying him for his prosperity. One day, a neighbour advised him to tie a bell on the neck of one of the camels to easily know which one is roaming where. The man heeded to his neighbour and tied a bell on the neck of one of the animals. The next time the camel with the bell went roaming in the jungle, his bell tinkled continuously. A tiger lurking behind the bush heard the sound and preyed on the camel. And the carpenter paid a heavy price forhis blind trust. Moral: Blindly trusting a co-worker can be detrimental to your growth in the organisation. There will be people who are more than ready with their free and unsolicited advice. But you should sense which one to listen to.It is wise to take note of when a colleague may be less than honest.'
