Fallen Poem by Shawn Pongtha

Fallen

Wish to cradle you in my arms
I'll catch you into my sweet embrace
Your soft rose petal lips
Entwined with my face
After this moment came to an end
I looked at the skies above
To search inside myself and say
Dear God, I've fallen in love
Quality minutes spent well with her
Is worth 1000 years
I just pray, dream, hope that it won't be
Worth 1000 of my frigid tears
I gazed into her winter blueness eyes
In return, she stared back
Just that one and only look
Made our hearts stand back to back
My dearly beloved
The wild spirit in your heart
Baby, rest me assured
That our love will someday start
