You Left Poem by Shawn Pongtha

You Left

Demented, dampened, dejected, lust
Feelings so fouled up
Dilapidate hearts converts to dust
Aching, deserted, angered tears
Anatomy in overwhelming infliction
This is my heaviest and darkest fear
Affection, felicity, tenderness, a beating heart
Once a gift given to me
Purloined away from me, as you part
