Fallen Angel Poem by Kami Henson

Fallen Angel

Rating: 3.5

The isolation, The coldness
taking back the love I could never claim
a touch, the warmth I could never feel
a moment that is sorrow
a moment that I need
a lover's kiss, a broken frame
nothing that will hold me
nothing that will care
a picture that is captured
an image that I've made
the goodbye I live
the heartache felt
a fallen angel, a heart that's broken
nothing that's ready, nothing to claim
silent tears and illusions lived
a silent fall, a silent plea
a world I'm in, a light that's dark

I enjoy your poem. I would like to see you write a poem or two about happiness; you have nice flow with your writing.
