Fallen Back In Grace Poem by alan brown

Fallen Back In Grace

I came home one evening
with a frown upon my face
The news was not to good that day
Or had I fallen out of grace

I looked into the mirror
and what a frightful site I'd see
Was this person that I was looking at
really part of me

I'd always been so happy
and never had a frown
What could I do to rectify
the reason I was down

Then I heard this story
about a playful man
and all about his antics
and the happiness he had

This story really helped me
and put a smile upon my face
I laughed and the world laughed with me
As I'D fallen back in grace
