Fallen Love Poem by Matthew McKellar

Fallen Love

Could it be that I still love thee, the twinkle in your eye your voice so soft speaking to me without a care or the smell of your hair Your pretty blue eyes melt me as you stare without your love my dearest I would cry and wish that I would die for your love is sweet like milk and honey Would you still love me if I didn't have any money? I know times are hard and this world is changing but as for my life I find it rearranging to think, Is it better to have loved and lost than to have never loved at all? , And where would I be if I couldn't have thee? Sure or love has sailed but alas how could it be that life has closed the binds on me I try to care but I can't find Loves key to set me free 1 last question remains How old will I be when love will once again set me free? - Matthew McKellar
