Falling For You Poem by Tess Rockenstire

Falling For You

Here we are hands in hands,
At the water edge, like children at play.
Reflection of our lives curved in the inlet of sea.
Footprints of our naked feet washed away.

Our hearts in sync with each other
The motion of a joyful heart,
Dawn welcomes the arrival of a new day.
My heart sings a melody.

Tell me; sing me a new song of hope.
Let me dance like a reigning queen,
The meadows are soaked with rain.
Let’s run together in the forest,
Under the tree speak your love for me.

Like a lily in the field is rebirth in the spring,
So as the song of a renewed hope rings.
I see a pavilion of a resting place,
A pagoda overlooks the ocean in the east.

Like a wild tiger in the savannah,
- mellowed by the taming of two hearts.
Love is like a current; it lights up the universe.
Two souls united in love thus sparks.
