Falling In Love Poem by Matthew Holloway

Falling In Love

Rating: 5.0

Falling in love
from where do we fall from
and where is it we land
this concept of a descent
into an emotion built
upon but four letters
it dominates us all at times
and within its own idea
the falling into it
no parachute required
love, love
how easy it sounds
the word rolls of the tongue
and falls away into
real life

Love is giving space, never overcrowding, just being there, ready to catch them when they fall and encourage all they do. All encapsulated in two consonants and two vowels, LOVE.
