Falling Need Sleeping Poem by Terence George Craddock

Falling Need Sleeping

Rating: 5.0

many poems
in my sleepless
last night

too tired
or too lazy
to get

up spend
half the night
writing them out?

too tired
exhaustion slaps
supersedes?

delight
felt lines
rapid

forming
in long rows
endless

queues
enticing
begging?

no time slam dunks
manuel worker mind
falling need sleeping

COMMENTS OF THE POEM
Terry Craddock 10 April 2014

Something freaky about this poem? I wrote it from the draft following, 'many poems in my sleepless last night, too tired or lazy to get up and spend half the night writing them out' on the17.2.2014. I then lost the finished poem, found the draft again on the 4.4.2014, then wrote exactly the same poem, with exactly the same lines, words, layout; except for 3 question marks. So the only differences between the February and April versions were 3 question marks? Strange considering all the lost poems that I never got back into at all?
