Falling Torrent - Poem by Rebekah Gamble

She has strength
and beauty.
she is blue sapphire
of clear glass falls.

She cries
and makes all
rivers and oceans
deep and cold.

She reflects sunlight
off her back of happiness
while grinding rocks
into sands of time.

A ten for this. Your use of images is superb. You pack so much meaning into a few words. It deserves many readings and visuals. It is especailly meaningful after reading some of your other poems. Again belissimo. Truly, une oeuvre d'abilité. (Report)Reply

This conjured up a sharp visual of a stupendous waterfall. The last couplet is extremely strong (Report)Reply
