False Hope Poem by Jayson C

False Hope

Rating: 5.0

Sorry for being sweet
From the way I act
And from the way I speak
I think we need to stop
Before we both fall in deep

I may have said too much
I may have done things
Are we in a rush?
Shall we see what this brings?

I can't promise you bliss
Nor promise no pain
I may be calm like seas
But I can be rough like the rain

I appreciate what you did
And how you made me feel
But let's stop and just stay still
before we start something unclear
