Familiar To Me Poem by Valerie Anderson

Familiar To Me

Rating: 5.0

Your words are calm.
Like the breath of the sea.
How they dance and flutter.
They seem familiar to me.

Musical and Rhythmical
A never-ending storm.
Always there in the end.
But never taking a certain form.

Full of life.
Like the air.
I need them both.
Without them, I could not live.

As soothing as the flowers.
So green and cheerful.
They always bring me hope.
They seem familiar to me.

Like wood, they are.
Good and sturdy.
As strong as an iron bar.
They seem familiar to me.
