Family - Ode To My Brother Dean Poem by Paul Warren

Family - Ode To My Brother Dean

To some he was an ordinary bloke
But we all loved him in our family yoke
Some people are born to do great deeds
Others just live their lives and fill their needs

I remember Christmas time as kids together
He was the oldest of brothers in our toy gather
But life has twists and turns to take
And it is hard to find the right in its wake

But he has now left and gone to be with our father
I think in some ways this is how he'd rather
So goodbye and I am sure you can hear Elvis live now
And drive a V8 for as long as you want so take a bow.
