Fancy Clothes Poem by Paul Reed

Fancy Clothes

All those fancy clothes at the wedding
Put on after the ordinary clothes-shedding
Those studded gowns and stiff collars
Worth many millions of dollars
Hand-cut suits and clinging dresses
Hair bobbed, fringed or hung in tresses
Accoutrements, accessories, gloves, shoes and spats
Fascinators, handkerchiefs and wide-brimmed hats
All displayed so proudly across the globe
All now lie gathering dust in a dark wardrobe.

All displayed so proudly across the globe All now lie gathering dust in a dark wardrobe. - Many people have watched the telecast... many of them were impressed... A fantastic show.
