Fantasy To Far For Me To Reach Poem by Madison Wrobel

Fantasy To Far For Me To Reach

Every day i walk in the shadows of other's sarrows
Feet shackled in place
Im going no where but down
His hearts cold as the bitter polar ice caps

Im not able to dream any longer,
My vision is clouded with fear
Im longing to feel the light
The radiant rays of the sun,
Seeping into my heart

A free man is who i wanna be
But that fantasy is only slimming up for me
Lyrics of sarrow, of rare joy
Leave our abused lips,
As we sing in harmony
As one

We all have that same
Dream, which is to be set
Loose and free

As a mocking jay in a small cage
Longing to spread its wings
And set off and fly free

But the world of happiness
And silly games is to far away for my eyes to see
My breath is turning raspy
As my back whipped to my soul

God keeps me alive,
Blessing loved one around me
Though i loose more blood with every lash,
My sprirt never brakes, and my hope only grows
I know one day i will be free
Evan if it means God is standing right next to me
