I live within confines:
abode, neighbourhood, nation.
I open the closed door,
go out of the surrounding walls;
the same familiar scenes abound.
I look up above the roof.
Dawn frames the skyline;
blazing sun dazzles the vision;
evening draws in the boundary;
night erases all identities.
Garden, flowers, smiling moon
captivate the eager eyes.
Still I want to see that lies
beyond all I perceive.
But no sooner glimpsed, it's gone.

With human limitations it is not possible to view panorama of universe in totality in a glimpse. However, a poet can do it riding on waves of his imagery. A thought provoking poem. Thanks for sharing.10 points.
