Farewell Is So Often So Unexpected? Poem by Terence George Craddock

Farewell Is So Often So Unexpected?

Rating: 5.0

sweet release
total forgetfulness
the sweet release
of total forgetfulness

the allure of opium eaters
lost in no memories
lost in forgetfulness
without the curse

bending will to wheel
for future countless
unknown revolutions

where is freedom waiting
if waiting at all and why
time long or short waits?

short or distance
timed journeys
into final sleep?
