Farewell Mademoiselle Poem by Jeremy Willson

Farewell Mademoiselle

I shed a tear in fear that this may be the end
Thank you for being my friend
For putting up with me all these years
I hope that me leaving doesn't bring back your fears
We'll meet again someday, somehow
Farewell my dearest, but only farewell for now
This road is long and winding
Lots of curves for finding
What we were missing, what we needed
I wish that it didn't have to be like this, conceding
To the way it's got to be
Knowing what the others doing isn't fair for us to see
It hurts you, and it also hurts me like Hell
So goodbye for the moment mademoiselle
