with you gone, i've realized the pain isnt as bad as i thought
maybe it's because what we had was already begining to rot
the night before you left, i cried my eyes and heart out
you would not listen to my pleading, and begging nor my shouts
if i fall for someone else, it is not my fault because you left me here
you left me alone, you left me in fear
of what the world could bring
you left me wounded with an unbearable sting
you had my love, but you never did take
so now i will not apologize if your heart i do break
