Farther Than Forever Poem by Airda Jones

Farther Than Forever

Why must you be so far
Like the distance of forever
But in silence I must
Understand your devotion to her

You're right here with me
Although we're really far apart
And I have lost count
Of the constant wishes upon the star

But sure as the sun
Rises up at dawn each time
We've a bond that's breaking
And no longer can I call it mine

So much for it lasting
For a lifetime and beyond
It will find its end too soon
Much like this love song

Much wider than forever
I have been nothing but true
But now in the clouds
I cannot find my way back to you

Gone is the moon that shined
Glowed like a lover never known
But now I am left with your love
And I am left alone

Far longer than forever
Much stronger than forever
Ad with the love for you I carry
I'll always be alone.
