Fate, . Poem by lacey smith

Fate, .

And when all goes wrong
the sun keeps reflecting off the water and my hand stays firmly in yours
i know that when my world crashes around me, your still holding ground firmly down for me.
when the windowpane is full of water, i know your hand is my tissue
when i feel like im alone, your kiss awakens me.
Your eyes are my eyes, this is security.

And when this feels like the end,
i know you are my means for my strength,
and i know that this will carry on forever.
And i know when the grass starts to freeze, your body is my coat.
yet the goosebumps on my skin is from your soft embrace
This tingle down my spine is not from the rain but yet from your kiss tracing up my neck.

And when the birds start to sing,
i know you'll be in my garden, making me shiver in delight.
Yet this is not from passion but from your loving voice in my ear.
And i know when i sigh in temptation, your finger will slip across my lip
awakening the woman within me.

and i know this is it, Your my fate.
