Fate, My Friend
Fate, my friend, why thus treat me?
You a friend has always been;
Why should I a verity refuse?
I never could your amity choose,
But years of forced camaraderie and stay
Have taught what I perhaps coudn't learn in a day:
That to me you're an unabandoning friend!
