Fathered By Stone Poem by RIC BASTASA

Fathered By Stone

Rating: 5.0

Thrown
into. Away and
now immersed with
all of you.
Pebble on the sand
some waves come
as occurrences.
Another
pebble of insignificance
is here.
Nothing is like
it and it likes
no one
upon its shiny
and glittering
arrogance.
Fathered by
stone
it cannot escape
the ordinariness of
all.

The rest of us
are silently
laughing.

Out of resigned
acceptances,

call it humility,
when it is
finally alone and
lonely,

we assure
it
that we are
pebbles too.

A beautiful write. Finally we assure it that we are ordinary pebbles too... Thanks for sharing!
