Fathers are Forever, whether here or in the sky
We honor them and treasure them
And see the kites they fly
Remembering our early days as they were at our side
In holding us and teaching us all things to which we’re tied
Fathers are the cherry on the mountaintop of life
We reminisce and value them
On days we’re filled with strife
Remembering all passing years while they were here in love
And now they watch us tenderly and guide us from above
Fathers are Forever, whether here or in the sky
They’ve never truly left us and
We needn’t question why
Their breath becomes the rainbows and their wisdom is the sun
Remembering our precious times until we become one
