Fathers Day (A Reckless Slaughter) Poem by Silent Speaker

Fathers Day (A Reckless Slaughter)

Rating: 2.3

Fathers Day
a joy to some
to me a cry
of the past and whats to come

Fathers Day
harsh memories appear
staring me down with guilt
feelings worse than when looking in a mirror

Fathers Day
my realizations as a failed daughter
of a father cruel and heartless
Fathers Day- a reckless slaughter
