Faultfinder Poem by Cynthia Buhain-baello

Faultfinder

I thought you said you were leaving?
Your barrage of childish complaints
Left us all with verbal indigestion
We are still reeling from that colic pain.

You are always demanding to be pleased
I wonder if your friendships abound?
Your bossy ways made the ties cease
A pain in the neck when you're around.

You dictate, criticize, impolitely impose
Such a negative attitude seeks to vex
Perhaps you grew up in that, I suppose
It only displays your superiority complex.

Better assess what is inside your heart
What comes out of the lips reveal more,
I don't value your attention and so depart
Words expose what in your heart you store.
