Spreads through the body
Like blood in water
And a chill goes through your
Spine
Your skin goes white as
Leprosy
And your body frozen
With fright
Your hands shake yet
Your legs daren't
Move
Stuck in one place like a
Picture on a wall
Your heart beats
Faster faster every
Second racing like
A horse
Your body becomes cold
Cold as the depths of
The arctic ice
As you're captivated
By fears inescapable might.
Funny I have a peom kinda like that....cant remember if its under the same name or not....but anyways...you discribed what I use to feel....you paint it so real...nice work.

That's really strong, powerful writing. The images are excellently chosen too; blood through wateras the 1st especially, it shows the reader where the poem is heading. Great stuff-M
