Fear - By Olly Poem by Olly And Molly T

Fear - By Olly

A void
Chasm of endless sorts
Unchanging for centuries
A deep black grips eyes
Holds hearts
With spindly, bony fingers
Its smile creeping
From ear to ear
As yours quivers
Into strummed strings
A frown forms
Tears gradually flow
As it tightens around your lungs
Breathing quickens
No oxygen will be enough
To save you from the deep
But stars shine
Sun rises
The chasm brightens ever so slightly
Winds blow softly
To move the largest mountains
And to change hearts
It blows away
Creeping tendrils
In graceful song
Its whistle flows by
As it passes through its rounds
A beautiful song quite indescribable
And monsters creep back
To their crevices
