February Snow Poem by Richard D Remler

February Snow

........

The February winds
Are blowing,

Take a look outside,
It's snowing.

Heavy, like a
Summer rain,

Twisted, raw,
Bent, insane.

A thunder, warm,
And cool, and gray

Gently rolls the sky
Our way,

And lightning
Crashes, ever sore...

Reminding me
To shut the door.

The storm has come,
I humbly confide.

I think I'll spend
Today inside.
