Feel My Hand In Yours - Poem by Michael P. McParland
Feel my hand in yours
as I stand beside you all the time
and everywhere you are and go.
You will have my support for all time
as I look at you at give a loving smile.
Feel my hand as I take yours
and give it a squeeze of true love.
Feel my hand in yours as I give
a loving look of true treasuring care.
Feel my hand as I grab yours
to pull you in for a hug to define an age,
as I give you a kiss that transcends
all time and space.
We share a love that cannot be justified
in some fairytale book way.
Feel my hand in yours and take strength.
Feel my hand in yours so we can feel
each other close and near.
So we can bask in the warmth of our love.
Feel my hand in yours as I'm always yours,
you are everything and the one
for who I'll always stand.
You are my Angel and my best friend,
my soul mate sharing a bond that has no end.
Feel my hand as I take yours in mine,
remember dear I will always be there by your side.
