Feeling Sorry Poem by Nidhi Rajesh Kumari

Feeling Sorry

There you stand again
Asking for forgiveness today
But, forgetting all you've done
It is no child's play.

I loved you deep and wide
More than the whole world
But, for you it was merely a joke
You left me and never returned.

After falling for you
Today I have stood again
I cannot ever trust that feeling
Which brought me unbearable pain.

Perhaps you are honest at this moment
For, you have realized my value
But how can return to my past
Leaving which, I started anew?

I'd forgive you instantly, if
You could bring back those years
When I cried and yelled aloud
And shed incessant tears.

I'd forgive at that moment
When you'd bring back my smile
Which faded off gradually
As I longed for you, every while.

If you cannot return me those times
And the smile which I have lost
I'd always feel sorry for you
But, never forgive you for any cost.

I hope you do not love me
Like you did not in the past
For, it'd only bring you sorrow
Sorrow which is unbearably vast.
