I’ve been happy,
Now I’m holding onto those days,
Listening to the many songs we shared,
The films we watched, laughed and cried to,
It’s been such a long time.
Falling in and out of love,
Going our separate ways,
Falling asleep in an empty space.
Is it a lonely place for you too?
Do you dream of someone holding you too?
Am I the only one in this pain?
Drowning in my own thoughts of yesterday,
Blind to all the pain that was caused.
Feeling the way I do,
Waiting for it all to come to me,
Am I dreaming?
Did I dream this ever happening?
Losing another day to you,
Feeling the way I do for you.
