Feelings - Poem by David Guillotte

When I see you and you see me
I think that we're meant to be
like birds of a feather
that stick together.

Though I can't help wondering about
If she likes me back I just want to shout
I can't stand not being with you
If only you knew my feelings were true.

I saw you walking down the hall
you were with your friends, you were having a ball
All I wanted was to talk
but then you started to walk

I started to realize maybe you weren't for me
Maybe we'll be together eventually
Before I left I took another glance
and thought maybe there's another chance
