Few heart beats remain
looking back at one memory
my heart so indifferent
but wanting to love more tenderly

It was the time of our lives
the choices of our prime
wanted to see you for once
and get our hearts aligned

whatever may come to pass
I reflected and felt happy
knowing I could give myself
my heart to you, very gladly

This moment in time
your eyes see my own
insignificant to others
it feels real, it feels like home
