Fellow Poets - My Sincere Apologies Poem by Jonathan Goldman a.k.a JGthepoet

Fellow Poets - My Sincere Apologies

Rating: 5.0

Fellow Poets often complain to me,
That I am not fair to them,
That they review my poems daily,
But I theirs, only now and then.

The truth you see, my friends, is,
A point you've missed so far,
That writing poems is my forte,
But my reviews can be unfair.

I am able to proffer advice,
On rhymes and scans and more,
But Blank Verse often pains me,
Why? I am not sure.

I do review poems, sometimes,
But not as often as you want,
For poems must be in Verses,
And have Rhythm, Rhyme and Scans.

I have some pressing problems,
That will not go away,
As soon as they've been sorted,
Then your poems, I'll review all day.
