Ferris Wheel & Roller Coaster Poem by Je'free Y .

Ferris Wheel & Roller Coaster

Rating: 5.0

Child, can you reach out for my hand?
You're lost in a world that doesn't understand.
Dizzy from the Ferris wheel & roller coaster rides,
Still, you never found the dream, the love of your life.

Child, hope my verses heal like sacred unction -
Soothing the soul, reigniting inspiration.
Maybe, you went astray and miles away
To make believe your sky wasn't sad and gray.

Child, I am you, just the same as you are me.
I've tasted your tears brought by misery.
Bury dead of the past, look back not with regret.
The answers lie in our hands, never forget.

What is your strengthened heart beating for?
Will you look forward to the future's door?
Have you learned you're larger than the universe?
Child, love like it's a blessing and not a curse.
