Field Yield Poem by Ima Ryma

Field Yield

From contraceptives, there's old borne
A bunch of life controversies.
Male run religions ever scorn
Family planning strategies.
The man long puts the woman's place
As serving the man's ev'ry need,
And to bear forth the human race,
The woman's there for the man's seed.
Kind of like the plowed field is there
To yield of life when duly sown.
The field thinks not of when or where
Or why or how new life be grown.

Man judges woman by her yield,
Just like a man judges his field.
