Fighting Poem by Alicia Meyers

Fighting

When will everyone learn,
That fighting and screaming,
Doesn't solve any problems?
It makes it worse.
If you think you won an argument,
By screaming at the victom,
You didn't,
The victom shutted up because of you.
When my family tells me to take a walk,
And solve my own problems,
I can't....
Because walking away doesn't solve any.
I hate how people fight,
I hate how people scream,
I hate how people yell,
Will you all learn?
Doing all of that,
Doesn't make you right,
It makes you wrong,
No matter how you look at it.
Just shut up,
And use your inside voice,
If you can't do that,
Go back to kindergarten.
