Final Straw Poem by Emma Hasel

Final Straw

Rating: 4.0

Welcome to the final straw.
You know you can't have them all.
Still you took each one-by-one,
and kept them now you have a ton.

So you pick me up; the final straw,
but your hands are full and so I fall.
You want them all and so you fall,
Fall to catch the final straw.
Fall, you fall.
And as you fall,
You lose them all.
All, except, the final straw.

Wow, who would have thought those words would have merged into a coaxing solace for me. Great job and keep them coming.
